The Changed Behaviour (CB) Consultancy aims to assist leaders in the dementia care workforce to understand and apply evidence-based frameworks and tools to build their capacity to respond more effectively to changed behaviour in people living with dementia. The 9-week program includes an introduction and eight learning modules. Each week, participants complete the relevant self-directed learning module, then come together for a 1-hour online (virtual classroom) discussion session with the DTA Changed Behaviour Consultant. The program also included sessions with clinical experts in some of the more common changed behaviour. Participants will also be guided to conduct a Readiness Assessment Audit of your health care service to assess its alignment with person-centred care and to identify gaps. They will then develop an Action Plan which will help address these gaps and embed the learnings from the program.
