This module explores the sexual diversities within the Australian population and has has three sections: - What does LGBTI mean? This section describes what each of the terms of this acronym mean: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex. - The LGBTI population Here we consider the question how many LGBTI people are there in Australia. - Body, gender, sexual and identity diversity This section focuses on terms that describe the range of diversity including gender identity, gender expression and sexual attraction. This is module 1 in the 4 part module series: Caring for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people with dementia
