This module explores the role benzodiazepines and other sedatives play in supporting a person with dementia experiencing a responsive behaviour. Throughout this module you will learn to balance the risks and benefits of using benzodiazepines and other sedatives in people living with dementia, and explore the current guidelines to support future prescribing if deemed necessary. This is module 1 in the 4-part module series: Appropriate use of benzodiazepines and other sedatives.
