This intermediate unit will examine pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to symptom minimisation and care for people living with dementia. Students will be required to complete tasks translating knowledge into practice and demonstrate understanding of the underlying evidence for the treatment of diseases causing dementia. This unit of study is part of the Bachelor of Dementia Care, offered by the University of Tasmania.
